Updates
Clay has been taken off the list of guest for the Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson. The details as to why have not been determined but according to Clay's Daily Double it may have something to do with the fact that he performed on Jimmy Kimmel within a week of his appearance on the Late Late show. The two shows show in the same time slot making them competitors, but this hasn't been confirmed.

Jimmy Kimmel
Rachel Ray Show
The American Idol sensation tells Rachael about his recent turn as Sir Robin in Broadway's Monty Python's Spamalot. "It's one of those shows that's different every night," he says. "The actors and the people in the show were so great. They'd change it up and they'd change things up on me. I finished two weeks ago, and I'd just gotten to the point I was finally getting used to it and finally comfortable and then they told me to leave. I was just finally figuring out my part!"
Clay is eager to talk about another role he's been playing -- an ambassador for UNICEF. "I was a teacher before I was on Idol," he explains, "and UNICEF needed someone to talk about education." Clay says it's been an amazing opportunity to work on programs in Uganda and Afghanistan, and hopes that more people will get involved with the organization. "They know the name," he says, "but they don't know exactly how much it does. It works in 156 countries and they've saved more children's lives in the world than any other organization."

Clay with his handy-dandy IPhone!
American Idol runner-up Clay Aiken chats on his Apple iPhone as he strolls along Montana Ave in Brentwood, Los Angeles on Wednesday. Clay looked summery in his linen blazer and leather sandals as he went to have lunch with friends at Louise’s. His latest album, On My Way Here debuted this week at #4 with 94,071 units sold this week. Clay’s previous album, A Thousand Different Ways, started at No. 2 in 2006, with the much larger sales of 211,000. Clay has said On My Way Here represents the last five years of his life, but that he didn’t write any of the material. He said he’s “not great” at songwriting and that he’d rather “let the people who are experts in that field do what they do, and I’ll do what I do.”
